Stuck on the Wrong Side of the Rogue River

Luna’s Day at The Beach – Swimming and Surfing at almost 2 years old
It’s been a while since Luna has wanted to get on the board in the ocean. We didn’t want to force it, preferring to wait until she asked. The last few days she has been asking. Yesterday morning she surprised us by riding her first few waves solo. She was even paddling back to dad (with some pushes from mom) after each ride. We didn’t have a camera.
Today, armed with a GoPro we tried again. The waves were a little bit bigger and more consistent so she was a little more nervous, but she did get this one great ride and ended it with a big smile!
Luna Swims
Luna is 22 months old and just had her 8th swim lessons with ISR. She went from a kid who was scared to put her face underwater to a kid who is excited to push off and swim underwater. Learning to float and then swim, float, swim is next! We can’t wait for more lessons.

Luna Goes to Europe
It all started with a plan to celebrate the wedding of my sister in Spain. Then we figured we might as well spend a month in Europe and tacked on an extra week in Switzerland with Kim’s dad and 10 days in Ireland. It was so fun!
Family Life in Costa Rica – Luna Suli at 7 Months Old
We’ve been having an amazing time in Costa Rica. Between the jungle and the beach, it’s a paradise for mom, dad and baby. We’re down here for 6 weeks running Surf Yoga Retreats for women, and on the first week a friend with an awesome camera was in attendance to capture these precious moments of the three of us together.
